The CET is excited to announce the creation of Canvas 411! Canvas 411 is our way of showcasing your work in the LMS and the discoveries you make as we implement Canvas at LCCC. The CET has learned a lot from reading your support cases. Three recent faculty calls are highlighted below.

Oh no! Only the last quiz attempt score is saved!
D2L could be setup to keep the scores for all quiz attempts. As Jenna discovered when she called Canvas support, Canvas only keeps the score for the last quiz attempt. As a work around create a copy of your quiz so the first attempt can be kept.

Excuse me!  That’s a nice feature!
Amber needed to a remove a grade for one student for a quiz.  Canvas support told Amber all she needed to do is use the excuse option and she fixed the problem in a jiffy!

SpeedGrader says I need to grade one more student!
Crystal discovered after calling Canvas support that SpeedGrader will always be one more than the number of students in her course. The test student account located in each course counts as the extra student.
