YuJa Tools for Engagement and Collaboration

YuJa's latest updates
are great!

YuJa is a cloud-hosted video platform purchased by LCCC in Fall of 2016. Some of the collaboration tools originally available in YuJa such video quizzes and discussion feeds have been greatly improved. Many of the recent updates in the media player allow for further student engagement. Those include commenting in the media player and adding documents, both of which can accessed via the media player. Use these resources to guide your exploration of the enhanced tools:

Using YuJa in Canvas

Collaboration works best if a Canvas group is created for the course:

• Enable YuJa in the course. (Select settings, choose the navigation tab, and drag YuJa to course navigation.) Save
• Click on the YuJa navigation link in the course and a group will be created in YuJa. Your group will show up under “All Channels” in YuJa. Students enrolled in your course can click on the navigation link to be added as students to your group.
